There is always new and exciting things’ occurring within our Pre-school. Although we try to spread the developing updates as much as possible by word of mouth, some of our church members thought that it would be a great idea to have a Pre-school section in our service bulletins and on the Web. We thought this would be a great idea, because there seems to always be something new happening.

So what is new with our Pre-school? We are excited at the growth of our pre-school. We now have 18 children currently enrolled for the start of the school year.  6 of these are K-1 to K-2, and 12 are K-3 to K-4 so far. This is some great news.

We are also very excited about the new curriculum that we will be using. We will now be using the A-Beka curriculum. A-Beka is so fantastic, because this curriculum has the material geared toward each child’s age level. This will decrease the amount of time the staff has to spend developing the lesson plans, that way they can spend more time coming up with more creative ways to present the material, interact, and cater more to each child’s learning styles.
